Overview

We are looking for a full-time Electrical Project Manager who will be responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and budgeting the activities concerned with the construction of our electrical projects. Working alongside Estimators, Superintendents, and Foremen, the Electrical Project Manager participates in the conceptual development of construction projects and oversees the organization, scheduling, and implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, schedule, and conduct all installations, inspections, testing, start-up, and commissioning of electrical switch gear, transformers, and power distribution
  • Drive schedule and quality of Subcontractor(s) to meet challenging schedule requirements
  • Manage resource loaded man-power schedule adjust to meet needs of the project accordingly
  • Conduct inspections of electrical materials deliveries, storage, and ongoing installations
  • Manage, oversee, and coordinate all QA/QC and Commissioning for Instrument & Control at ground up manufacturing facility
  • Coordinate QA, Cx and Equipment Start Up with Subcontractors and Vendors
  • Gather from Subcontractors and collate and organize QA & Cx Closeout Reports and Documents

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
  • Project management of 1-10 million dollar projects
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Strong working knowledge of administration, management, electrical materials, methods, and tools
  • Ability to coordinate own and others' tasks, manage own time and manage personnel resources
  • Must be able to work in a variety of physical conditions including sitting, standing, walking, and driving
  • Regular exposure to all weather conditions, including extreme heat, combined with regular work time indoors in environmentally controlled conditions. Infrequent light physical effort is required
